Tribute to Anthony Bourdain, a charity event, raising funds for Solemen Indonesia and Sumba hospitality Foundation.
 
Anthony Bourdain passed away at age 61, on 8 June 2018, leaving his fans heartbroken; celebrity chef, author, traveler but most of all inspirer. In a bid to honor the late Anthony Bourdain, who had visited Indonesia on numerous occasions most notably in Bali for his series ‘No Reservations’ this event features 12 of Bali’s top chefs, including 2 celebrity chefs Marinka and Farah Quinn, along with our host Chef Chris Salans.
 
The Hatten Wines Tribute to Anthony Bourdain will be a culinary night market set up on the manicured Hatten Wines Lawn in Sanur. Here, from 16:0022:00, Bali’s food and beverage community invites all to eat, drink, dance, and enjoy the best the industry has to offer.
 
The whole evening is a fund raiser for two special organizations (1) Solemen Indonesia, helping disadvantages kids in Bali (2) The Sumba Hospitality Foundation who are training the hospitality industry for Indonesia’s future.

Throughout the event, Chef Marinka and Chef Farah will present a cooking demo, while the 12 of Bali’s top chefs will be selling their cuisine for guests to enjoy.

The event will also feature a wine stall from Hatten Wines, Beervana, Albens Cider, Balian water, special arak cocktails in collaboration with Bili from Spice by Chris Salans, gelato by Gelato Secrets and of course music and entertainment throughout the afternoon and evening by Crazy Horse.
 
Hatten Wines is the first to introduce a traditional méthode champenoise Sparkling Rosé, the lepun. In the year 2001, after celebrating its 100th vintage of the Rose, Hatten Wines slowly introduced a white wine and a white brut méthode champenoise sparkling, the Tunjung, a light red wine, Aga Red, and fortified Pineau des Charentes, Pino De Bali.
 
With the mission to establish a strong Balinese wine culture all over Indonesia and the world, Hatten Wines not only produces wines from local grapes but also owns its own winery in Sanur, as well as a 45-hectar vineyard in Singaraja, North of Bali.
 
As Founder and CEO Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa is named wine pioneer in Asia, and also recently received the Winery of The Year 2017 award from Asian Wine Review, Hatten Wines is a Balinese company, committed to international standards of quality and taste.

While entrance tickets, food and beverage purchases and all sales will be donated to the Solemen and Sumba Hospitality Foundation.
 
And raffles and auctions will also be held, with many prizes that can be won on that day.

Together we have collected 38,425,300 Rupiah for The Sumba Hospitality Foundation and 100,000,000 Rupiah for Indonesian Solemen from the sale of food, tickets and sponsors. We thank all parties who participated in this event. (Team).
