TNI AD Returns As General Champion of AASAM Shooting Competition in 2019 in Australia

DETEKSIPOST.COM – JAKARTA – Commander of the Army Strategic Reserve Command (Pangkostrad), Lt. Gen. Lieutenant General Harto Karyawan, SH, M.Tr. held by the Australian Army(Royal Australian Army) for 8 days starting March 26-April 2 2019 in the Puckapunyal Military Range, Victoria, Australia, Tuesday (2/4).
 
The Indonesian Armed Forces Army (TNI AD), again incised a brilliant achievement on the international stage by becoming the General Champion in the prestigious shooting competition between the Army from 20 countries in the Asia Pacific region and several countries from the Americas and Europe.
 
tNI AD received 21 gold, 14 silver and 10 bronze medals from various contested shooting competition materials in the competition entitled Australian Army of Skill Arms at Meeting (AASAM).
 
Indonesia returned as the best overall champion for the 12th time during the AASAM shooting competition. In this event the 1st winner was won by the Indonesian contingent, second place was the Australian contingent and third place was from the Malaysian contingent. Five TNI shooters were also included as 20 of the best shooters who were selected to take part in the Match Championship 104 from each of the contingents of AASAM participating countries.
 
then 3 TNI AD shooters came out as champions in the 104 Match Championship, namely Sertu Woli as 1st place, Sertu Misran as Champion 2 and Kopda Arifin as Champion 3. With these results the Army was declared the General Champion of the AASAM Shooting Contest in 2019.
