
#Customs member of Ngurah Rai Canceled Natkotika Smuggling Through Post Office
DETEKSIPOST.COM – BADUNG – BALI, Customs Office of Ngurah Rai succeeded in thwarting two narcotics smuggling attempts at the Great Renon Post Office. Both actions are carried out on April 4 and 10, 2019Tuesday.30 April 2019.

The first prosecution was carried out on April 4, 2019 against a German shipment package with a karal number CY515287754DE.
“On April 4, 2019 at the Great Renon Post Office, our officers suspected a shipment package from Germany with the sender’s name AllGames4You Online Shop Langenberger Str 436 45277 Essen and the recipient on behalf of Mellisa Toro. the suspicion of officers was based on intelligence received from KPPBC Type C Pasar Baru and the results of X-Ray machine shipments.
Furthermore, the officers conducted an in-depth examination and found 994 (nine hundred and ninety four) light brown pills with Gorilla images and contained DK writings with a total weight of 475.48 grams of net. based on the results of tests at the Ngurah Rai Customs Laboratory, the pills were stated positively as MDMA / ecstasy drug preparations, “explained Himawan.
For these findings, on April 8, 2019 the Customs together with the Denpasar City Police and Task Force (Task Force) CTOC (Counter Transnational Organized Crime) synergized to carry out control delivery efforts to the recipients of the shipment package.
based on the results of control delivery, it was revealed that the address listed on the shipment package was the address of a virtual office (address rental service). an employee of the office, who receives a package of goods from the postal clerk, then claims that the package belongs to a client named Melissa Toro aka Fany.
So, the control delivery effort was still carried out by the joint team, until finally on April 10, 2019 2 (two) Indonesian citizens with initials RSRK (27) and KAWDY (26) as the recipients of the goods were successfully secured. 475.48 grams of MDMA drug stock net is estimated to have a circulation value of Rp. 213,966,000 (two hundred thirteen million rupiahs nine hundred sixty six thousand rupiahs) and can be consumed by 2,378 people.

“The officer suspects a package from the Netherlands without the name of the sender or recipient, which is only an address. Suspicion of officers is based on the results of X-Ray imaging of the shipment package. after opening, the officer found 1 (one) plastic attached to the words “Mimosa hostilis Hidden Valley 200gr” containing pieces of purple plant stems.
after we did the testing at the Ngurah Rai Customs Laboratory, the purple stem of the plant was stated to be positive as a N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) type of narcotic preparation, ”said Husni Syaiful, Head of the Enforcement and Investigation Division of DJBC Bali Regional Office, NTB, and NTT.
Following up on the findings, on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 Ngurah Rai Customs officers and Ditresnarkoba officers at Bali Regional Police carried out control delivery efforts and managed to secure the recipient of the goods, namely a man from Russia with the initials AS (36).
other than that the evidence and suspects from the first prosecution, namely RSRK and KAWDY were then handed over to Denpasar Police to be followed up,
While the evidence and second prosecution suspect namely the US were handed over to the Bali Regional Police.
for his actions, the three suspects namely RSRK, KAWDY and US could be charged with Article 103 letter (c) of Law Number 17 of 2006 concerning Amendments to Law Number 10 of 1995 concerning Customs and Excise in Article 113 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics withdemands for capital punishment, life sentence, or imprisonment for a minimum of 5 (five) years and a maximum of 20 (twenty) years and a maximum fine of Rp. 10,000,000,000.00 (ten billion rupiahs) plus one third.
Both of these actions add to the long list of narcotics actions carried out by the Ngurah Rai Customs Office during the period of 2019, namely 24 acts of prosecution (TIM)
