Heads of State and Delegations Arrive in Bali, G20 Security is Ready


BALI – DETEKSIPOST.COM – A day before the peak of the G20 Presidency Summit on 15 to 16 November 2022, a number of heads of state have been present in Bali. The President of Republik Indonesia Ir. H. Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and entourage arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport from Solo using a special presidential plane, on Monday (14/11/2022).
 
The President of Republik Indonesia Ir. H. Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and their entourage were welcomed by the Coordinating Minister for Marves, Menpora, Kabin, Chief of Police, Governor of Prov. Bali, Pangdam IX/Udayana, Bali Police Chief, Danlanud Ngurah Rai and Danlanal Denpasar. Furthermore, the President of Republic Indonesia and his entourage left I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport for The Apurva Kempinski Nusa Dua Hotel.
 
A number of heads of state have also landed at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on the Island of the Gods to attend the G20 Presidency Summit since Sunday (13/11) last night. Apart from United States (US) President Joe Biden, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol and his wife Kim Kun-Hee have also arrived in Bali.
 
Meanwhile, a number of Prime Ministers and Presidents who attended the G20 Summit in Bali returned today, Monday (14/11), including Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Saudi Arabian Prime Minister Muhammed bin Salman Al-Saud, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudue, Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
 
This was followed by the arrival of the President of Argentina, Alberto Fernandez, who had also arrived on the Island of the Gods. The arrival of the delegates participating in the Bali G20 Presidency Summit was greeted by troops of honor and the Pendet dance was one of the dances performed to welcome state guests.
