Hari Pagerwesi, Bali police chief Sembahyang to Pura Lempuyang Luhur

Barbara Golose, Bali Police Chief Brig. Gen. Pol. Drs. i Wayan Sunartha, Main Officer and Head of Karangasem Police and Bali Police personnel carry out prayers to Lempuyang Luhur Temple, Wednesday (10/17/2018).
 
Before going up to the sublime peak, it begins with a joint prayer at Lempuyang Madya Temple and Pura Pasar Agung. more than 1,700 steps passed by the Bali Police Chief with enthusiasm and without showing any fatigue. Arriving at Lempuyang Luhur Temple, the Kapolda group carried out a melukat (self-purification) ceremony led by Jro Mangku Wangi.
 
Inspector General Pol. Dr. Peter Reinhard Golose said, this prayer ceremony was aimed at pleading for salvation while giving thanks to God for all the gifts given so far. not only that, this prayer is also to pray for the situation of the Kamtibmas in Bali to remain safe ahead of the 2019 Presidential Election and Pileg.
 
“I first prayed to Lempuyang Luhur Temple. because I have to climb the stairs up to thousands of stairs, then I have to prepare physically and the most important is a sincere heart, “he said.
