Arriving in Dubai, President Jokowi was welcomed by the Ruler of Dubai and witnessed the exchange of a number of Memorandums of Understanding


Dubai – deteksipost.com – Last day in the United Arab Emirates (PEA), Thursday morning 4 November 2021, President Joko Widodo continued his working visit to Dubai from Abu Dhabi by car.
 
Arriving at the Dubai Exhibition Center, President Joko Widodo was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, and the Ambassador. The Head of the Republic of Indonesia for PEA Husin Bagis to the Lobby Leadership Pavilion.
 
In the room, President Joko Widodo was greeted by the Prime Minister (PEA) and the Ruler or Emir of Dubai PEA Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum (MBR). After that, President Jokowi and Prince MBR witnessed the exchange of a number of memorandums of understanding or _Memorandum of Understanding_ (MoU).
 
The MoUs exchanged on this occasion are:
1. Memorandum of Understanding between the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy and the Education and Training Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, conducted by the Minister of State for PEA, Ahmad bin Ali Al Sayegh, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi;
 
2. Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates and Bank Indonesia regarding cooperation in the field of payment systems and digital financial innovation, carried out by the Governor of the PEA Central Bank, Khalid Mohammed Balama Al Tamimi with the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi;
 
3. Memorandum of Understanding for mutual recognition of eligibility certificates for the level of training, certification and shift work for seafaring personnel, carried out by the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the PEA, Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, with the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan;
 
4. The instrument of ratification of the agreement for the promotion and protection of mutual investment which was signed on 24/7/2019, was carried out by the Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the PEA, Mohammed bin Hadi Al Husseini, with the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi;
 
5. The instrument of ratification of the amendment to the double taxation avoidance agreement signed on 24/7/2019, was carried out by the Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the PEA, Mohammed bin Hadi Al Husseini, with the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi;
 
6. Exchange of notes on amendments to Safe Travel Corridor Arrangements (Mutually acknowledging PCR and vaccine certificates as well as cooperation between digital platforms), signed by the Minister of State for PEA, Ahmad bin Ali Al Sayegh, with the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi;
 
7. The Memorandum of Understanding between the PEA Export Credit Agency and Indonesia, made by the Vice President of the PEA Export Credit Union, Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, with the CEO of PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero), Benny Waworuntu;
 
8. Memorandum of Understanding for Strategic Partnership between PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. and Emirates Airlines, conducted by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Airlines, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, with the Indonesian Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir;
 
9. Memorandum of Understanding on the Joint Investment Framework Agreement between the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) and the Abu Dhabi Growth Fund (ADG), conducted by ADG CEO Khalifa Mohammed Al Suwaidi and INA CEO Ridha Wirakusumah;
 
10. The Strategic Port Development Alliance Agreement between the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) and DP World, entered into by the President of Dubai Port, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, with INA CEO Ridha Wirakusumah and Pelindo CEO, Arif Suhartono;
 
11. Balikpapan Refinery Unit Investment Cooperation & Partnership Agreement between
PT Refinery Pertamina Internasional – Mubadala Petroleum – Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), conducted by CEO of Mubadala, Mansour Mohammed Al Hamed, with CEO of PT Refinery Pertamina Internasional, Joko Priyono, and Deputy CEO of INA, Arief Budiman;
 
12. The Cooperation Agreement for the Development of the Floating Solar Panel Project between Masdar and Pertamina New Renewable Energy, carried out by Masdar’s CEO, Mohammed Jamil Al Friendly, and Pertamina’s CEO, Nicke Widyawati;
 
13. Memorandum of Understanding between Hayat Biotech and Bio Farma, made by Mansour Al Mansouri with CEO of Biofarma Honesti Basyir;
 
14. Memorandum of Understanding between Smartfren Telcom – PT Amara Padma Sehati and G42 Investments AI Holdings RSC Ltd., carried out by Mansour Al Mansouri with CEO of Smartfren Telcom, Frankie Wijaya, and Commissioner of PT Amara Padma Sehati, Pandu Syahrir.
 
After witnessing the exchange of MoUs, the President and his ministers left the Lobby Leadership Pavilion.
