Jokowi Furious about Imports: Change the Managing Director of his BUMN, Reshuffle the Minister of My Affairs!

BALI – DETEKSIPOST.COM – President Jokowi expressed his frustration at the high value of imports of procurement of goods and services at ministries and institutions. He also asked the president director of the state-owned enterprises that are still importing to be removed.
 
“BUMN, I convey to the Minister of SOEs, already, change the president. Change, what are we doing?” Jokowi said in a briefing on the proud affirmation action made in Indonesia, seen on the Presidential Secretariat Youtube, Friday (25/3).
 
The same applies to ministers. Jokowi does not hesitate to replace them if there are ministries that tend to choose imports rather than using domestic products.
 
“Ministry, it’s the same, but that’s my part. Reshuffle, it’s been me, I can’t run like this, “he said.
 
“In front of the currency, we have our own money, it’s just difficult to spend on domestic products,” Jokowi was annoyed.
 
Furthermore, he also asked the Attorney General to oversee the circulation of imports in Indonesia so that they are not considered domestic products because of the role of aggregators.
 
“I’m watching it right. I ask the Attorney General not to let imported goods be labeled as domestic products because often in the market place there is such a thing as an aggregator,” said Jokowi. (team).
