
Competing in the Global Era, LEAD School Collaborates with Kingston International College Australia
BALI – DETEKSIPOST.COM – The tourism industry which is growing globally in various parts of the world demands the readiness of human resources who have high competence and are ready to compete dynamically. Responding to this, Lian Education And Development (LEAD) Hospitality & Business School which operates under the auspices of the Sari Gurita Denpasar Bali Foundation carried out collaboration with educational institutions abroad on Thursday, 21/9/2023 at the local campus.
According to the Main Director of LEAD, I Nyoman Astama, SE., MM., CHA, it was explained that preparations for this collaboration had begun since early 2023 with Kingston International College Australia. “We have been exploring this collaboration since last January by getting to know each other’s institutions, including legal aspects, educational programs they have and agreements to provide mutual benefits between parties with a structured mechanism,” said Astama enthusiastically during the activity.
This collaboration with Kingston International College includes the School of Tourism and Business while Working in Australia, which also has offices in Buthan, England and America.
Also present from LEAD were Sang Putu Eka Pertama, SE.Ak.,CA.,MM., M.Tr.Par (Finance Director) and other staff and from Kingston International it was attended by Tandin Dorji, Main Director and Intan Rianna, International Marketing .
On that occasion, Eka Pertama expressed its optimism in following up the collaboration in question. “In this global era, we must make innovative and revolutionary breakthroughs while still prioritizing aspects of professionalism and the best quality.
The concept of collaboration between various parties will certainly be able to provide sustainable benefits and strengthen each other. We hope that in the future our human resources in Indonesia will be increasingly able to compete and be able to become key player in the global market,” he said.
Kingston said that the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is the first step and entry point for broader cooperation in the future, including but not limited to dual accreditation of the LEAD School program, development and marketing of work-based Kingston training modules by LEAD School as well as other new program collaborations including human resources.
Apart from signing the MOU, Kingston also conducted an interview process for LEAD students and alumni for the opportunity to study while working and/or continue their studies in Australia.
After that, it was continued with a mini tour of the campus area to see classroom facilities for studying as well as practical laboratory facilities in the form of a bedroom, bar counter, hot kitchen, pastry kitchen and spa treatment room. The activity ended with a warm welcome between the two institutions which was attended by LEAD students and alumni as well.(team).
