President and Mrs. Iriana Jokowi arrive in Washington DC

BALI – DETEKSIPOST.COM – President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo and their entourage arrived at Andrews Military Base, Washington DC, United States, Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at around 21.40 local time (WS) or Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 08.40 WIB.
 
After taking approximately 24 hours of flight from Jakarta with a transit in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, a Garuda Indonesia aircraft with flight code GIA-1 landed at the airport belonging to the United States military.
 
After the plane door opened, the Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, Rosan Roeslani boarded the plane and invited President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana Jokowi to get off the plane. After that, on the plane steps, the Indonesian Ambassador and his wife returned to greet the President and Mrs. Iriana. The President and his entourage then headed to the hotel where they were staying, and would start their work agenda the next day.
 
Arriving at the hotel where he was staying, he seemed to welcome the President and Mrs. Iriana, namely the Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, who had arrived earlier.
 
Also accompanying the President and Mrs. Iriana were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, and Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia.
