Deputy Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Bali Police AKBP Suratno, S.I.K., M.H., explained that the first case revealed was a case of specialist theft (break-in) of a modern shop that occurred at Alfa Mart Bualu Store Q424, Jl. Siligita No. 55 Benoa, South Kuta, Badung, on Monday, July 4, 2022 at around 06.10 WITA.
 
In addition, with 3 perpetrators with the initials RP (L, 44) from Lampung, SH (L, 48) from Banyuwangi, and the suspect with the initials ST (L) (still being chased).

“In carrying out their actions, the perpetrators carried out the modus operandi of breaking into the back wall of the Alfa Mart Store repeatedly until it broke. So that the perpetrators can freely take valuables and some money from the cash register by force. As a result of the incident PT. The perpetrators were arrested on Friday, July 29, 2022. As a result of their actions, the perpetrators were charged with the crime of theft with a weight as referred to in Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 7 years in prison.
 
“It turns out that this is a group that often plays with the mode of breaking into Alfa Mart. After conducting a series of investigations that the perpetrator was in Java. First in Banyuwangi, followed by running to Solo then running to Surabaya and immediately arrested in Surabaya. Brother RP admitted to committing the same crime in Jakarta,” explained AKBP Suratno.
 
Furthermore, in the disclosure of the second case, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Bali Police succeeded in uncovering a special case of breaking into hotels, villas, and hospitals. There were 6 crime scenes with a pretty fantastic loss of lost items worth IDR 1.2 billion. But because they needed money, they were sold cheaply.
 
This group of 6 people, 1 is still a DPO, one of whom is a former employee of one of the hotels. The items taken are sanitary items such as faucets, showers, etc. Goods are transported using Innova car evidence. After being sold, it is used to rent a shop, buy goods and daily necessities.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Bali Police on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 managed to arrest 4 perpetrators with the initials RO (L, 38) from Pemalang, HS (L, 34), MI (L, 37), and AS (L, 24) from Demak and the perpetrator with the initials JO (L) (still in pursuit). The perpetrator in carrying out his modus operandi, the perpetrator entered the hotel project area through the back fence and then damaged the hotel room door and took items in the hotel room.
 
As a result Hotel Patina PT. Mustika Adi Perkasa as the victim suffered material losses of Rp. 204,113,636 and later the perpetrators will be charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 7 years in prison.
