“Also, the most important thing is that there are regular cultural arts events, routine performing arts that continue to be held at the locations of our tourist destinations, including Borobudur, must continue to be carried out so that it will attract more tourists to come to Indonesia,” he added.

For people who want to travel during this year’s Lebaran holiday, President Jokowi welcomes them. At the same time, the President also appealed to the public to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols during going home and traveling.

“It doesn’t matter the most important thing when going home, then when traveling, don’t forget health protocols, especially wearing masks. Second, you have to have a complete vaccine, plus a booster vaccine, because this is to protect all of us, to protect all of us,” he explained.

According to data received by the Head of State, at least 79 million people said they wanted to go home this year for Eid. Therefore, the President reminded that the handling must be done carefully because it involves a large amount.

“From the latest data we received, approximately 79 million people want to go home. This is not a small number. Don’t compare it later with other events, for example MotoGP which is 60 thousand. It can’t be 60 thousand compared to 79 million so handling must be done. Be careful, the complete vaccine must be done, then boosters will also continue to be pursued,” he said.
