Moment of Silence 1 Year by Ukrainians Community in Bali


DETEKSIPOST.COM – Bali-Denpasar, 24.2.2023. The increasing number of foreign tourist arrivals to Bali is now quite large and significant, be it for leisure or business purposes. It is hoped that various regulations will be understood by the large tourist population in Bali.
 
Amid the hectic number of tourists in Bali, the Ukrainian community in Bali commemorates 1 year togetherneas after their country was invaded, resulting in many victims, both economic and fatalities. This has become the sadness of all Ukrainians everywhere until now, the 1st anniversary event moment of silence to pray for speedy peace and an end to the war in Ukraine.
 
I Nyoman Astama as the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Bali expressed his condolences for what has happened in Ukraine until now, “This activity was accompanied by the laying of flowers and lit candles, remembering that it has been 1 year that Ukrainians have been sad because of the war in their country. Hope for peace is to be started and endeavored from within and this will create sustainable peace”.
 
According to the Department of Law and Human Rights Bali Office the number of Ukrainian citizens in Bali has now reached 7,908 people, which is a 36 percent increase from pre-pandemic time of 8,754.(tim).
