Jokowi Open XX National TTG Work Meeting and 2018 PINDesKel in GWK, Koster Give Welcome Greetings

DETEKSIPOST.COM – Indonesian President Joko Widodo accompanied by Mrs. iriana Joko Widodo, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo, Minister of Villages, Development of Underdeveloped Regions Eko Putro Sandjojo and Governor of Bali Wayan Koster opened the XX National Workshop on Appropriate Technology (TTG) and Village Development Innovation Week andKelurahan (PINDesKel) 2018 at GWK Cultural Park, Ungasan, Badung Regency, Friday (10/19).The opening event was marked by a colossal performance entitled “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Maha Sakti” offering the Mario Bros studio from Badung Regency.
 
In his speech, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, said that Indonesia’s strength lies in a big difference. “The difference in colors is seen in the dance that we saw just now. We can unite this power, we will have great strength, “said President Jokowi. According to him, the nation’s greatest asset is unity and harmony.
 
the president also hopes that nation building starts from the village. According to him, the development in the village must use materials from the village. He hopes that the village will start using appropriate technology and the application of systems that are increasingly affordable so that villages can be marketed. “I see that many villages have succeeded in lifting their villages into new tourist destinations with not a little income,” said Jokowi.
 
Governor Wayan Koster who was present with Mrs. Putri Suastini Koster welcomed the event which was attended by around 7,000 participants from all over Indonesia.
 
in his welcome speech, Governor Koster expressed his gratitude for the trust in Bali hosting this national scale event. According to him, the presence of participants from all over Indonesia will contribute to the development in Bali.
 
this activity itself is an annual event held by the Directorate General of Village Administration (PMD) of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Village PDTT. The purpose of this activity is to find creators and innovators in the area in technology development.(Team).
